UNDER CONSTRUCTION: Nanomatronix is growing, expanding our facilities, capabilities and services, and preparing for new products releases.

Nanomatronix utilizes several novel techniques for the production of a variety of inorganic and organic nanostructures. Multiple product releases will occur over the next few months, including a variety of refined, nanostructured (0D, 1D and 2D): metal-oxides, metal-oxide intermediates, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and a variety of synthetic and organic polymer nanofibers. Initially, our refined nanomaterials will be available in small batch quantities for sampling, evaluation and product development. Our nanomaterials production capability and products also serve to supply our internal materials integration, prototyping and product development activities. One of our current R&D projects involves the refinement and optimization of a process to semi-continuously extrude pure, ultra-long CNTs.

The Nanomatronix founder and our team of associates possess a unique mix of interdisciplinary knowledge and experience designing, prototyping, producing and characterizing a variety of ruggedized, hybrid microelectronics and optoelectronics components for harsh environments. We also offer consulting services, custom hybrid circuit design and prototyping services, and screening and qualifications testing services per relevant JEDEC, IPC, MIL, NASA and Telcordia standards, including radiation screening at partner cyclotron facilities. We employ J-standard certified engineers and technicians in addition to other relevant standardized certifications for specialized component design, manufacturing and test.

Several exciting, new nanomaterial-based biomedical technologies are being considered and developed at Nanomatronix. Technologies include: nanomaterial coatings for biomedical implants, antimicrobial/antifungal materials, bone/tissue regeneration scaffolds and therapies for neurodegenerative diseases. We have partnered with key faculty researchers in Chemistry/Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Immunology, Medicine, Poultry Sciences and Veterinary Medicine at the University of Arkansas, UAMS and TAMU. These partnerships provide Nanomatronix with a unique collection of expertise and capability.
