Facilities and equipment

Nanomatronix uses nanotechnology, microelectronics, and biotechnology to provide solutions to the healthcare, energy, and defense industries.
5/5
Our team of associates possesses a unique mix of interdisciplinary knowledge and experience designing, prototyping, producing, and characterizing a variety of ruggedized, hybrid microelectronics and optoelectronics components for harsh environments.

We also offer consulting services, custom hybrid circuit design and prototyping services, and screening and qualification testing services per relevant JEDEC, IPC, MIL, NASA and Telcordia standards, including radiation screening at partner cyclotron facilities. We employ J-Standard certified engineers and technicians in addition to meeting other relevant standardized certifications for specialized component design, manufacturing and test. We are capable of simulating space and upper atmosphere conditions for components, assemblies, sub-assemblies, and mission-critical equipment.

Nanomatronix has four Cohu Delta 9000 Series Temperature Chambers, two Cohu Delta 7000 Series Temperature Chambers, three TestEquity 1007 Enviornmental Chambers, desiccator cabinets with Dual Purge™/ NitroWatch™ control systems, a JewelBox Series Real-time X-ray Inspection System, and several vibration/shock systems.

see it in action

Nanomatronix utilizes several novel techniques for the production of a variety of inorganic and organic nanostructures, including metal-oxides, metal-oxide intermediates, carbon nanotubes (CNTs), and a variety of synthetic and organic polymer nanofibers. Our refined nanomaterials will be available in small batch quantities for sampling, evaluation and product development.

Novel hybrid and monolithic microcircuits are becoming more prevalent in emerging aerospace, space and other harsh environment systems. Most suppliers of these emerging components and sub-systems are non-QML manufacturers and therefore require a significant level of product assurance and quality control scrutiny from their buyers. The Nanomatronix Microelectronics Strategic Business Unit (SBU) was established to assist our customers (the non-QML suppliers and buyers) with the development and execution of compliant, standardized screening and qualifications test plans per relevant DOD, NASA and industry standards. We also provide custom ASIC, MCM and PWB design, prototyping and characterization services, especially in regards to harsh environment application and product development.

Nanomatronix can 3D-print your part with an industry-best 25 µm resolution in a variety of materials, including standard, engineering, and dental methacrylate resins using the state-of-the-art Formlabs Form 3 printer. Resolution can be adjusted up to 100 µm for a faster and more cost-effective print. From CAD to physical object in no time, work with Nanomatronix engineers to rapidly develop, print, evaluate, and iterate a range of designs at an affordable cost.
